Psychologist, Therapist & Meditation Teacher
Maria Camara, PhD is a psychologist and psychotherapist who also has studied extensively with renowned meditation masters for more than 20 years in Europe, North America and India. Maria holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Basque Country, an MSc in Health Psychology from Middlesex University and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Deusto. Certified in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) by Bangor University’s Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, Maria is widely published and has hosted many workshops and lectures on Mindfulness-based approaches and the Hoffman Process for transformative personal growth. A co-director of Hoffman International and co-director of the Hoffman Institute in Spain, Maria is also a founding member of Bodhi Salud, a health and meditation retreat in Valencia, Spain where she is in private practice. Maria is a featured Mind Trainer in our Working with Stress meditation course.
