They do it for a variety of reasons – some desire the peace and tranquility that comes with meditation while others simply want to control their compulsive, over-adrenalized personalities.

Here is a list of 10 famous people who meditate:

Number on on our list of famous people who meditate is David Lynch. He is a director who is renowned the world over for his unique, shadowy directing style. Lynch has been practicing Transcendental Meditation for over 40 years now. He even has his very own TM website that preaches the goodness of this technique. He once stated that bad emotions such as anxiety, stress and tension get lifted away once you start meditating.

Ferriss is a revered entrepreneur, author and public speaker. He is known for his interesting books which include “The 4-Hour Body” and “The 4-Hour Workweek.” He believes that meditation is the definite key to success, and that’s why there are many famous people who meditate.
